CITE 2014: A Carnival to Share the Digital Lifestyle

The 2nd China Information Technology Expo 2014 (CITE 2014) will completely showcase the newest developmental achievements of the whole information technology industry chain, building a communication and exchange platform for practitioners in the global information technology industry's biggest production industry and market with the most innovative development vitality – China. This year’s expo will utilize the exhibition center’s eight exhibition halls, which will be full of the most cutting edge technology and products in the information technology industry, it will include the following:

Exhibition Hall 1 will be the main hall of the expo, where a digital audio-visual zone, SMART mobile terminal zone, computer and networking zone and guest of honor zone among others will be set up. Major developments in the latest display technology including 4G terminals, 4G chips, ultra-high resolution displays, and curved displays will be clearly outlined. The industry leaders of Samsung, ZTE, TCL, BOE, MediaTek, Spreadtrum, SMIC , Hisense, CoolPad, Skyworth, Konka, ChangHong, GreenWheel EV, BYD Auto, China Mobile and China Unicom as representatives will showcase the latest products and technology at the expo;

Exhibition Hall 2 will be for flat panel display and will be an area that mainly includes an LCD zone, OLED zone, and touch screen and flat panel display equipment and material zone. A feast from the photoelectric display industry will be staged here, with FPD and TP exhibitors as the mainstay, among them will be Sharp, representative as an internationally known world-class enterprise, as well as the current most popular touch-screen industry giants;

Exhibition Hall 3 will mainly include LED, communications displays, electronic car companies and important enterprises in the LED industry. A procurement matchmaking event will also be held on-site;

Exhibition Hall 4 will focus on the Internet of Things and applications, where a SMART car exhibition zone, wearable equipment zone and more will be set up. Real car-demos including BYD’s automatic parking system for cellphones, FAW, and SAIC, will allow visitors to be able to personally experience the mind-blowing feelings brought on by the latest wave in new SMART car technology. A grand assortment of wearable electronics will be a feast for visitors’ eyes;

Exhibition Hall 6 for software and the internet will focus on exhibiting the soft power of information technology. Big data, cloud computing, SMART city, information security e-commerce, internet finance and other exhibition zones will be set up. Wave cloud disaster recovery, Westone’s secure storage systems, CEC’s information security system, Hikvision’s high-end “4K” monitor, and Tencent micro-payment etc. will allow visitors to personally experience the tremendous changes brought about by software-defined lifestyles in the internet-era. Exhibitors include TENCENT, Alibaba,Inspur, IFLYTEK, Yonyousoftware, ZMODO;

Exhibition Hall 7 will be the electronic instruments and equipment hall. It will mainly include electronic device, test & measurement instrument zones, electronic tools and a special equipment exhibition zone etc. It will include the exhibitions of RF and consumer electronics test solutions from Rohde & Schwarz (R & S), Pansino, Yokogawa, GWinstek and other companies and their perfect match with the industry development characteristics of Shenzhen and the Pearl River Delta region. This will be a boost for local industries in achieving manufacturing and innovation;

Exhibition Hall 8's new energy hall will have new lithium energy and photovoltaic exhibition galleries, with new materials, represented by graphene, possessing hope in becoming a new target of lithium development. In particular, the secondary lithium electronic technology displayed at the expo will become a guarantee of China’s green ecology construction;

Exhibition Hall 9 will be an IC and components hall. Its main areas will include an integrated circuits zone, high-end components exhibition zone and special components exhibition zone. Among them, the special components exhibition zone may be called China’s only special components centralized procurement platform right now, and is an indicator for the trends in industry development. We believe the rich variety of component types and excellent professional buyer service systems are bound to provide both sides with the creation of a professional and reliable one-stop trade platform.
