CITE 2014 in Shenzhen, China from April 10 to 12, 2014

The China Information Technology Expo (CITE), the largest IT and consumer electronics show in Asia will be held April 10-12, 2014 in Shenzhen, China. The 2nd annual CITE 2014 is the place to grow business and showcase the latest IT and consumer electronics technologies, products and innovation from around the world. Jointly organized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of P.R. China (MIIT) and the Shenzhen Municipal Government, CITE 2014 features over 100,000 square meters (approximately 320,000 square feet) of show floor space with over 100,000 attendees and over 1,500 exhibitors, new products and technologies, including the latest new technology advancements from China. In addition, there will be industry forums and seminars on the top 30 hot topics, including China’s industry chain, 4G, smartphones, smart TVs, A/V devices, software/apps, wearable technologies, automotive, and cloud computing.

CITE 2013 Quick Review: Active attendance from leading industry enterprises. The first edition of CITE attracted a huge number of large enterprises and competitively strong middle- and small-sized enterprises from the IT industry. Large enterprises included CEC, CETC, Lenovo, Haier, Hisense, BOE, Changhong, TCL, and Coolpad. Microchip enterprises included MediaTek, Spreadstrum, Rockchip, and SMIC. Optoelectronic enterprises included CSOT, AUO, Infovision Optoelectronics, China Aviation Optical-Electrical Technology, Tianma, Goworld, and Han’s Laser. Basic electronic enterprises included Guizhou Space Appliance and Hengdian Group DMEGC Magnetics. Electronic equipment enterprises included Junquan Automation and Yinhua Electronics. Electronic test and measurement equipment enterprises included Agilent, Rohde & Schwarz, and Yokogawa. Lithium battery enterprises included B&K and Mitsubishi Chemical.
